Local officials in Nangarhar reported that an explosives-laden car was seized and a suspected attacker detained by security forces yesterday.
A press release from Selab 201 Corps stated that bomb-rigged corolla car was confiscated in Dur Baba district during an operation.
The statement added that some 200 kilograms of explosives had been skillfully placed in the car.
One combatant was also detained during a clash with militants in the area.
