At least 35 Taliban insurgents were either killed or injured in airstrikes conducted by Resolute Support (RS) forces in three districts of Paktia province yesterday.
A press release from Paktia governor’s office stated that nine Taliban insurgents were killed and six injured in an airstrike in Zazai Aryub district.
The statement added that the second airstrike targeted two Taliban militants in Zurmat district.
The statement further stated that seven Taliban insurgents were killed and 11 injured in Janikhail district.
Taliban militants are yet to comment.
