The contract of second part, second phase of medium-term project (MTP1) for supplying water in Kabul was signed between Engineer Hamidullah Yalani, director of Water Supply, and representative of Fika Company – a Turkish company – at the end of the meeting of High Council for Urban Development.
The contract costs over 5.7 million USD and will be funded by USAID.
This project includes construction of water storage with capacity of 5 thousand meter squares on Wazir Akbar Khan Hill, construction of the control room, and connecting of the water transmission pipe from water storage to water supply network.
