Ghani Meets Faryab Elders

President Ashraf Ghani met with a number of Faryab elders in ARG (Presidential Palace) yesterday evening.
A press release from ARG stated that Ghani said individuals and groups involved in harassing and intimidating people would be dealt with sternly.
Talking to elders from Khairabad village of Dawlatabad district, the president said the Afghanistan Constitution guaranteed the rights of all Afghans.
The statement added that the elders said recent incidents in Khairabad villages should be investigated and the perpetrators brought to justices.
The statement further stated that Ghani said the government was seriously working on the issue of illegal gunmen and action would be taken in line with the law against those harassing people.
