President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey met Afghanistan’s First Vice President Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum late on Friday.
The meeting at the presidential complex in Ankara — Turkey’s capital — was closed to the media, the state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Saturday.
Dostum, a leader of the Uzbek community, has been in Turkey since May. The ex-warlord was expected to return to Afghanistan in the near future, the news agency said.
