Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, will host the 7th Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA) today.
Shekib Mustaghni, spokesman for Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), said that Second Vice President Sarwar Danish, Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani, representatives of 170 private sectors, and a number of high-ranking officials will attend the meeting.
Ashgabat has suggested initiatives to align efforts for developing fundamentally new mechanisms to stabilise the situation in Afghanistan.
Launched in 2005 in Kabul, RECCA aims to strengthen efforts of regional countries for stabilising Afghanistan and promoting the economic integration of South and Central Asia.
