Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah, heading a high-level delegation, left Kabul for the United States and Canada yesterday evening.
A press release from Chief Executive’s office stated that Abdullah will meet with a number of officials in US and Canada.
“Abdullah will discuss issues around the achievements and challenges of the National Unity Government with US congress and senate,” the statement reads.
In his visit to Canada, Abdullah will attend the Halifax International Security Forum.
The statement added that the CEO will speak at the United Nations General Assembly in New York about the UN annual resolution on Afghanistan.
