Local officials in Ghazni said that 10 Taliban insurgents were killed and five injured during clashes with Afghan security forces in Shahbaz area of central part of the province.
Mohammad Arif Noori, spokesman for Ghazni governor, said that Taliban insurgents launched coordinated attack on Afghan security forces’ check posts in the area last night.
He added that five policemen were killed and two injured.
Taliban militants are yet to comment.
