At least 22 Taliban insurgents were killed and 10 injured in Ghazni province over the past 24 hours.
Arif Noori, provincial governor’s spokesman, told Killid that the ground and air operations were conducted by Afghan security forces in seven villages of Khogyani district.
Noori added that among those injured was a prominent Taliban commander as well.
Meanwhile Zabiullah Mujahid, a so-called Taliban spokesman, told Killid that only one Taliban fighter was injured during the clashes with security forces.
