Security officials in Herat reported that four Taliban insurgents including two commanders were killed while planting a roadside mine in Darzad area of Keshk Kohan district last night.
Abdul Ahad Walizada, spokesman for Herat police, told Killid that Mullah Bari and Mullah Ahmad Shah, two Taliban commanders, were among insurgents killed.
Walizada added that three Taliban insurgents were also injured.
Taliban militants have not commented yet.
