Unknown gunmen shot dead the Laghman prosecutor in Jalalabad, provincial capital of Nangarhar, last night.
Ataullah Khogyani, spokesman for Nangarhar governor, told Killid that Mujeb Rahman was gunned down by unknown motorcyclists on his way home.
Khogyani added that Mujeb, 42, a resident of Khogyani district, had served as prosecutor for Nangarhar and Kunar. His current assignment was in Laghman.
He further stated that security force had launched an investigation into the incident.
