Abdul Salam Afghan, spokesman for Helmand police, told Killid that 10 Taliban insurgents were killed and six injured in a joint military operation launched by security forces in Greshk district over the past 24 hours.

He added that five hideouts of Taliban were destroyed and 63 mines were defused.
Taliban militants are yet to comment.
