Qazi Mohammad Nabi Ahmadi, deputy governor of Kunar, has been abducted in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhaw province.
Abdul Ghani Mosmim, spokesman for Kunar governor, said that Kabul authorities were informed that the deputy governor needed treatment. However, he didn’t know to which country the deputy governor had gone for treatment.
Meanwhile sources said that Qazi Ahmadi had gone to Pakistan for treatment along with his brother, but his mobile phone couldn’t be reached.
Afghan Consul General in Peshawar, Moin Maristial, admitted to the Pakistani media outlets that the Kunar’s deputy governor had been kidnapped.
