Local officials in Herat reported that Taliban shadow chief judge for west zone was killed in the province. Jailani Farhad, spokesman for Herat governor, told Killid that Maulavi Ahmad Shah, Taliban shadow chief judge for west zone, along with a Taliban insurgent was killed in Chenaran area of Oba district by local police. In a separate incident two terrorists were killed in Shendand district.
Taliban militants are yet to comment.
