Dozen Taliban, 9 Soldiers Killed in Ghazni

Local officials in Ghazni said that 12 Taliban insurgents were killed and 11 injured in clashes with Afghan security forces in Dehyak, Zankhan, Qarabagh, Abband, and Khoja Omare districts last night.

Local officials in Ghazni said that 12 Taliban insurgents were killed and 11 injured in clashes with Afghan security forces in Dehyak, Zankhan, Qarabagh, Abband, and Khoja Omare districts last night.
Arif Noori, provincial governor spokesman, told Killid that 9 policemen were killed and two injured. Meanwhile Zabiullah Mujahid, a so-called Taliban spokesman, told Killid that Taliban militants attacked police check posts in Kabul-Kandahar highway in which 14 Afghan soldiers were either killed or injured.
