Security officials in Badakhshan province confirmed that a vehicle carrying ammunition and weapons of Afghan National Army (ANA) was drowned in Kokcha River. Mohammad Amin, police chief of Argoye district, told media that the incident occurred yesterday when the vehicle veered off the road and fell in Kokcha River. He added that the driver of the vehicle was also killed. The vehicle was on its way from Kunduz to Badakhshan.
