A rocket was fired by insurgents earlier today in an apparent attempt to hit foreign installations. Basir Mujahid, spokesman for Kabul police, told Killid that the attack took place at 6 am local time but there were no casualties. No group has claimed responsibility.
This came soon after Friday’s deadly suicide bombing against the Imam Zaman mosque in Dasht-e-Barchi in Kabul city which killed at least 39 people.
