Security officials in Nangarhar said that 117 Taliban and Daesh militants were either killed or injured in special and joint military operations over the past two weeks. Abdul Rahman Rahimi, chief of Nangarhar police, while addressing a press conference, stated that the insurgents were killed and injured during 42 special and joint operations over the past 14 days. He added that lots of areas were cleared of insurgents.
