The European Union (EU) Foreign Affairs Council will meet in Luxembourg today and will adopt a new EU strategy on Afghanistan. It is reported that peace and prosperity, regional security, democracy, rule of law, human rights, Economic and human development, migration, and empowering women will be the focus of the strategy. EU Foreign Ministers will also discuss the situation in Turkey, focusing on the rule of law and human rights in the country as well as on its regional role.
