British Special Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan Owen Jenkins reaffirmed his country’s continued support to Afghanistan during a meeting with President Ashraf Ghani yesterday. A press release from ARG (Presidential Palace) stated that Ghani and Jenkins discussed issues pertaining to Afghanistan, South Asia and the region. The statement added that the visiting British envoy stressed on expansion in bilateral relation and assured Kabul of the British future cooperation in different areas. Ghani also hailed British cooperation and assistance to Afghanistan over the years.
