Officials in Herat said that 218 civilians were killed and 291 injured in terrorist incidents over the past six months. Ahmad Wali Samandar, chief prosecutor of Herat, said that these people were killed or injured in Taliban attacks or terrorist incidents. He added that 115 terrorist incidents have happened over the past six months and 176 people were arrested in connections with the crimes and were transferred to prisons in Kabul, Herat and Bagram. Samandar further stated that most of the incidents were registered in Shendand, Fars, Gulran, and Kahsan districts.
