The bodies of five dead border policemen who were killed in a clash with militants in Marawara district of Kunar yesterday were transferred to their families. Border Police Commander in west Gen. Mohammad Ayub Hussainkhail confirmed killing of the five border policemen to Killid. Hussainkhail said militants suffered casualties during the clash but exact figures were not available. Security personnel who wished to go unnamed said insurgents targeted the border policemen when they were fetching water from a stream. Taliban militants are yet to comment.
