Security officials in Laghman said that three Taliban insurgents were killed and two injured in an operation codenamed ‘Selab1/8’ in Alisheng district. A press release from Selab 201 Corps stated that the operation was conducted in parts of the district yesterday and tens of villages were cleared of insurgents. Taliban militants are yet to comment on the statement.
