Pakistan’s military chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, will undertake a crucial visit to Afghanistan tomorrow where his delegation is to discuss with Afghan counterparts ways to strengthen bilateral security cooperation and border management efforts. Dawlat Waziri, spokesman for Afghan Ministry of Defence (MoD), said that Kabul will reiterate its call to Pakistan to take action against terrorist hideouts and safe havens inside Pakistani territory. Bajwa’s visit comes ahead of his trip to Russia, which is also scheduled to hold a meeting of delegates from 50 countries to discuss the crisis in Afghanistan.
