President Ashraf Ghani yesterday strongly condemned a suicide attack on a Shiite mosque in Kabul’s PD 10th in which five people were killed and 20 injured. A press release from ARG (Presidential Palace) stated that Ghani said Afghanistan was considered a model of religious harmony in the world. Ghani added terrorists should understand that their inhuman and anti-Islam acts would not leave a negative impact on the inter-faith harmony of the Muslim Afghan nation. The statement further stated that Ghani said that the people of Afghanistan had rejected terrorists and no country or group could reach their nefarious designs by using violence. Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack.
