Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah along with 200 Afghan businessmen will go to India on a three-day visit today. During his visit, Abdullah will call on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will inaugurate the India-Afghanistan Trade and Investment Show. The show will feature Afghan entities from economy, agriculture, health, education, gender and energy sectors seeking trade and investment opportunities with India, along with the CEOs of major Indian and US companies. Abdullah’s visit follows the recently concluded second meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council which was co- chaired by Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and her Afghan counterpart.
