Prominent Taliban Commander Killed in Maidan Wardak

Local officials in Maidan Wardak province said that Haji Khan, a prominent Taliban commander, was killed and three Taliban fighters were arrested in Afghan security forces’ ground and air operations in Nerkh district. Naqib Amini, spokesman for Maidan Wardak police, told Killid that the commander was involved in terrorist activities in the provincial highways. Taliban militants are yet to comment on the statement.
