At least 19 Taliban and Daesh fighters were either killed or injured after the two groups battled in Qoch Tapa district of Jawzjan. Mohammad Reza Ghafoori, spokesman for Jawzjan governor, told Killid that the clash erupted between the rival groups yesterday afternoon. He added that four Daesh and 11 Taliban militants were killed and four others were injured. Ghafoori added that Daesh militants burnt the bodies of five Taliban insurgents after the clash ended. Taliban and Daesh are yet to comment on the incident.
