A man in Herat killed his 18-month-old daughter after she refused to hug him. Herat police said that the incident happened yesterday in the 14th municipality district of Herat city. Abdul Ahad Walizada, spokesman for Herat police, said that Kolsum’s father asked her to give him a hug but her refusal made her father angry and he smashed her head against the wall. Walizada added the man named Baran fled the area and the police have launched a manhunt. The child’s mother confirmed the incident and said her daughter was killed by her husband.
