Afghan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani left Kabul to India to attend India-Afghanistan Strategic Partnership Council today. According to the reports, Rabbani will meet India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swarja on Monday. India’s media reported that the Afghan leader arrives in Delhi today for delegation-level talks of the ”India Afghanistan Strategic Partnership Council” during which the two sides are likely to review the entire gamut of relations, including the Indian humanitarian assistance to the embattled nation. Shekib Mostaghni, spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that meeting is held annually to enhance and explore all avenues under the aegis of the India-Afghanistan Partnership Council and to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
