Afghan President Ashraf Ghani will attend the first Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting on science and technology today in Astana, Kazakhstan capital. A press release from ARG (Presidential Palace) stated that Ghani will meet leaders and heads of state of some Islamic countries on the sidelines of the summit. Acting Minister of Information and Technology Shazad Aryub, Presidential Advisor on Information Technology Rafaiuddin Malakzai and other high ranking officials accompanied the president on this trip, the statement added. Afghanistan and Kazakhstan are members of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO).
