Local officials in Kandahar said that 21 people were reported killed and two injured in car accidents on different parts of the province. Zia Durrani, spokesman for Kandahar police, told Killid that over speeding and violation of traffic rules were the main reason behind the accidents. Meanwhile a dead body was found in Madad Khan area of the city. Durrani added that the man was stabbed. He further stated that police have launched an investigation to arrested the perpetrator and assure that justice is provided. This comes as traffic accidents and criminal incidents have unprecedentedly increased in the province.
