Dozens of Taliban Insurgents Killed, Injured over the Past 24 Hours

Ministry of Defence (MoD) said that 12 Taliban insurgents were killed and six injured in joint operations conducted by Afghan security forces over the past 24 hours. A MoD press release stated that the operations were conducted in Nanagarhar, Kapisa, Paktika, Paktia, Ghazni, Uruzgan, Kandahar and some other provinces. The statement did not give information on casualties among Afghan security forces. Taliban militants are yet to comment on the statement.
