Local officials in Baghlan said that eight people were killed and four injured after a vehicle crashed into a truck yesterday. Lieutenant Sohrab, provincial traffic police chief, said that a Toyota Corolla car collided with a Hino truck in Poza Ishan area in the limits of the 6th municipal district of Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital. He added that the dead included three women, three children and two men, all from the same family. Dr. Ainuddin Sayadi, provincial hospital director, said eight dead bodies and four people injured in the accident were brought to them. He said the injured were all children, and one of them was in critical condition.
