Security officials said that a number of gunmen attacked a mosque in Qala-e-Najarah area of PD 11th Kabul city this afternoon. Police have cordoned off the area following the attack. Interior Ministry Spokesman Najib Danish told Killid that 14 people including policemen, women, children, and worshippers were either killed or injured. Danish added that the Police Special Unit have arrived at the area, adding that the clearance and rescue operation has started in the mosque. According to the reports, the attack was carried out by three or four men and that one of them blew himself up outside the mosque. Many worshipers were inside the mosque when the explosion took place, reports said.
