At least 20 Taleban insurgents were killed and 34 injured in joint air operations conducted by Afghan and foreign forces in Ghor. Mohammad Iqbal Nezame, spokesman for Ghor police, told Killid that 20 Taleban insurgents including four prominent commanders were killed and 34 injured in the joint operations in Teyora district. He added that 2 vehicles and 16 motorbikes of Taleban were destroyed. Nezame further stated that there were no civilian or military casualties. Taleban militants are yet to comment on the statement.
