A prominent Taleban commander, leading 20 fighters, was killed by Afghan security forces in Kunduz. Security officials said that the commander was killed in Afghan security forces’ airstrike in Chardara district of Kunduz. A press release from Pamir 20 Division stated that 10 Taleban insurgents were killed and eight injured during the strike. The statement added that five different types of mines were also discovered and defused.
