Bodies of some 40 allegedly killed by Daesh and Taleban militants after being abducted were found in two mass graves in Mirza Olang area of Sar-e-Pul province. According to the reports, At least 50 people were killed after Daesh and Taleban stormed the area earlier this month. Security forces recovered the bodies from graves with the help of local people. Most of the corpses had received bullets and some were beheaded. Syed Ahmad, a religious scholar, said that the two mass graves contained 26 and 11 bodies respectively and they included the remains of children and women. Daesh insurgents issued a statement on Tuesday and claimed responsibility for the attack on the valley.
