Security officials in Helmand said that 25 Taleban insurgents including prominent commanders were killed in airstrikes conducted by Afghan security forces. Abdul Salam Afghan, spokesman for Helmand police, told Killid that Afghan security forces targeted Taleban insurgents in Zangal area of Greshk district yesterday. Afghan added that 25 Taleban insurgents including prominent commanders were killed in the strikes. Taleban militants are yet to comment on the incident.
