Abdul Samad, a prominent Taleban commander, was killed in Ghor province. Mohammad Iqbal Nezame, spokesman for Ghor police, told Killid that Abdul Samad was killed in an airstrike conducted by Afghan National Army forces in Charseda district. Ghor is a disturbed province where Taleban insurgents are actively operating in parts of the province.
