Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai said that Privatisation of war by US in Afghanistan is blatant violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and constitution. A press release from Karzai’s office stated that Privatisation of Afghanistan security means prolonging the war, killing innocent people, and further promotion of law breaking. The statement added that bloody experiences in Iraq shows that such measures would have catastrophic ramifications. The statement further urged Afghan government to announce its stance against the measure.
