Local officials in Farah province said that 65 Taleban insurgents were either killed or injured in clashes with Afghan security forces over the past few days. Mohammad Naser Mehri, spokesman for Farah governor, told Killid that 40 Taleban insurgents were killed and 25 injured over the past four days. He added that six vehicles and two motorbikes of Taleban were destroyed. Mehri further stated that there were no civilian or military casualties. Taleban militants are yet to comment on the statement.
