A suicide bomber along with his accomplice was arrested in Herat city today. A press release from Herat governor’s office, stated that a suicide bomber and his accomplice were arrested in a special operation conducted by National Directorate of Security (NDS) operatives in PD 11th area of the city. The statement added that the target of the attacker was civilians. Earlier more than 100 people were either killed or injured when a suicide bomber first opened fire on worshippers inside Jawadia mosque and then detonated explosives strapped on his body.
