At least five men were arrested on charges of affiliation and cooperation with Taleban in Kandahar. A press release from National Directorate of Security (NDS) stated that the men were residents of Helmand and Kandahar provinces who cooperated with Taleban insurgents in the province. The statement added that the men were involved in the attack on foreign convoy and Afghan security forces. The statement further stated that the men have confessed to their crime in the preliminary investigations.
