Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah traveled to Kunar and Nuristan provinces on unofficial visits yesterday. Abdullah met with local officials and tribal elders of Nuristan yesterday morning. Acting governor of Nuristan, Hafiz Abdul Qayom, said that 70 percent of Nuristan schools have no buildings. Abdullah said that we will discuss security issues related to Nuristan and will decide about it at the National Security Council (NSC). He promised that all the suggestions that come to us will be supported at the ministers, government and cabinet level. Abdullah also traveled to Kunar province and met with local officials of the province.
