25 Taleban Insurgents Killed, 30 Injured in Maidan Wardak

Local officials in Maidan Wardak said that at least 55 Taleban insurgents were either killed, injured or arrested by Afghan security forces. Naqeb Amini, spokesman for Maidan Wardak police, told Killid that 25 Taleban insurgents were killed, 30 injured, and two arrested in clashes with security forces on Kabul-Kandahar highway. He added that one army soldier was also injured. Taleban militants have not commented on the statement yet.
