At least 10 Taleban insurgents including a prominent commander were killed in clashes with Afghan security forces in Badghis province. Abdul Halim, local police commander in Balamurghab district, told Killid that Taleban insurgents attacked police check posts in Zorai area of the district last night. He added that 10 Taleban insurgents were killed. He further stated that one army soldier was killed and two injured. Taleban militants are yet to comment on the incident.
