Afghan commandos have cleared parts of Kunduz of insurgents after a 14 day clearing operation. Jawed Salem, spokesman for commando forces in Kunduz, told Killid that 13 villages were cleared of Taleban insurgents. In the process 45 Taleban insurgents being killed and 32 injured. Salem added that Afghan commandos destroyed several stockpiles of ammunition belonging to the Taleban. Taleban militants are yet to comment on the report.
