A relatively heavy explosion rocked the western part of Kabul city around 6:50 am today. Ministry of Interior Affairs (MoI) said that the explosion happened near Zowal University and house of Mohammad Mohaqiq, second deputy to Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah. Meanwhile eye witnesses said that several people were either killed or injured in the incident but the exact figure is yet to be announced by officials. No group has so far claimed responsibility.
