Local officials in Badghis said that Taleban attacked an Afghan National Army (ANA) check post in the province and abducted eight soldiers. Zaher Bahand, spokesman for Badghis governor, told Killid that a Taleban commander getting assistance from some of ANA soldiers along with the group fighters entered the check post last night and abducted eight soldiers. He added that they took all the weapons of the soldiers. He further stated that so far there were no trance of the abductees. Taleban are yet to comment on the incident.
